ORDINANCE NO. 17.104

2 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 17,068 ("THE 1996 BUDGET
3 ORDINANCE'), TO REALLOCATE BUDGETED FUNDS WITHIN THE POLICE
4 DEPARTMENT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A
5 CONTRACT FOR HELICOPTER RENOVATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

7 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas adopted
8 Ordinance No. 17,068, the 1996 Budget Ordinance, on December 26, 1995; and
9
10 WHEREAS, the Police Department desires to reallocate budgeted funds without
11 increasing their authorized budget to provide funding for the purpose of renovating a helicopter;
12 and
13
WHEREAS, bids have been obtained for the renovation work, and the lowest bidder for
14
15 the majority of the required work is MidCoast Aviation.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
17 CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

19 SECTION 1. The program budget summary attached to Ordinance No. 17,068 is hereby
20 amended.to increase the budget for organization number 5600, Support Services Division, by
21 $46,500, and to decrease the budget for organization number 5000, Administration, by $46,500
22 to provide funding for helicopter renovation.

24 SECTION 2. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with
25 MidCoast Aviation in an amount not to exceed $38,301.14 for helicopter renovation work.
