AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A
WAIVER FROM THE REQUIREMENT THAT DRIVE
RETURNS NOT EXTEND BEYOND THE PROJECTION
OF THE COMMON LOT LINE WITH AN ABUTTING
LOT, FOR CAMBRIDGE PLACE ADDITION, LOTS
10 -13 -- AMENDED SHORT -FORM POD (Z- 2390 -C),
LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PLEASANT
VALLEY DR., APPROXIMATELY 0.1 MILE WEST OF
CAMBRIDGE PLACE DR., LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapters 30 and 31 of the Code of
Ordinances be amended to provide for a variance from certain
requirements within the Streets and Sidewalks Regulations
and the Subdivision Regulations of the City of Little Rock
for CAMBRIDGE PLACE ADDITION, LOTS 10 -13 -- AMENDED SHORT -
FORM POD (Z- 2390 -C), as follows:
Subsection a. That a waiver be approved from the
provisions of Sections 31 -207 and 31 -210, which require
the intersections of private streets and driveways with
public street to meet the design standards of Sections
30 and 31 of the Code of Ordinances, and Section 30-
43.a, sub - paragraphs 1 and 32, which require that the
radius return of driveway aprons at intersections with
streets not extend beyond the projection of the common
lot line with the abutting lot and that driveways be a
minimum of 25 feet from the common property line, to
permit the east drive radius return to extend beyond
the projection of the common lot line between Lots 1
and 10 as shown on the site plan recommended by the
Planning Commission.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty
(30) days from and after its passage.
