AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A
VARIANCE FROM THE REQUIREMENT THAT
DRIVEWAY IMPROVEMENTS WITHIN ACCESS
EASEMENTS MEET PUBLIC STREET STANDARDS,
FOR CAMBRIDGE PLACE ADDITION, LOTS
10 -13 -- AMENDED SHORT -FORM POD
(Z- 2390 -C), LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE
OF PLEASANT VALLEY DR., APPROXIMATELY
0.1 MILE WEST OF CAMBRIDGE PLACE DR.,
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of
Ordinances be amended to provide for a variance from certain
requirements within the Subdivision Regulations of the City
of Little Rock for CAMBRIDGE PLACE ADDITION, LOTS 10 -13 --
AMENDED SHORT -FORM POD, as follows:
Subsection a. That a variance be approved from
the provision of Section 31 -207, which requires private
streets to meet the design standards of public streets,
and Section 31 -209, which requires commercial streets
to have sidewalks on both sides of the street, to
permit the interior driveways and parking areas within
the access easement to be constructed to driveway and
parking lot standards, and without a sidewalk along
both sides of the drives.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty
(30) days from and after its passage.
