AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND TO THE MASTER STREET
PLAN (15,519), REDUCING THE RIGHT -OF -WAY
AND PAVING STANDARDS FOR SEVERAL MINOR
ARTERIALS IN CENTRAL LITTLE ROCK, AND FOR
OTHER MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Planning Staff have
reviewed the street section and support a reduced standard;
and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after review of the
request and a public hearing recommends the proposed
reduction in standards.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Master Street Plan text in the Chapter
entitled "Functional Classification of Street System, Minor
Arterial" section is amended to add the following footnotes:
A. Wright Avenue /17th Street
Right -of -way of 60 feet with three lanes,
additional requirements at major intersections or
major new developments.
B. Chester
Right -of -way of 60 feet with four lanes,
additional requirements at major intersections.
C. Main Street
Right -of -way of 80 feet with four lanes,
additional requirements at major intersections.
