AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MASTER STREET PLAN
(15,519) REMOVING MIDTOWN AND RECLASSIFYING
PORTIONS OF SCOTT HAMILTON AND WOODROW, AND
FOR OTHER MATTERS.

WHEREAS, the Public Works and Planning Staffs have reviewed
the request and cannot support retention of MIDTOWN; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after review of the request
and a public hearing recommends the proposed changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The expressway, MIDTOWN, is removed from the
Master Street Plan.
SECTION 2. Woodrow is changed to a Minor Arterial from
I -630 to Wright Avenue (currently it is classified as a
collector).
SECTION 3. Scott Hamilton Road is changed to a Minor
Arterial south of 65th Street and an collector north of 65th
Street.
SECTION 4. The Master Street Plan text in the Chapter
entitled "Functional Classification of Street System, Expressway"
section is amended as follows:

SECTION 5. Ordinance 15,968 and all other ordinances or
Portions of ordinances setting the location, right -of -way and/or
any requirements for the proposed Midtown are repealed.
SECTION 6. The Master Street Plan text in the Chapter
entitled "Functional Classification of Street System, Minor
Arterial" section is amended as follows:
