AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FROM THE FUTURE - LITTLE
ROCK RESERVE TO PROVIDE FUNDS FOR THE LITTLE ROCK PRIVATE
INDUSTRY COUNCIL (PIC) AND JTPA DEPARTMENT DURING PROGRAM
YEAR 1995 (JULY 1, 1995 THROUGH JUNE 30, 1996).
WHEREAS, during 1995 the Board of Directors appropriated funds from the one -half
cent local sales tax for service initiatives recommended by the FUTURE - Little Rock task
forces; and
WHEREAS, tax collections exceeded appropriations, and the Board transferred excess
funds to a reserve for future appropriations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The sum of $187,000 is hereby reappropriated from the FUTURE - Little
Rock reserve account (account number 100- 8513); and the Little Rock Private Industry Council
and the JTPA Department is hereby authorized to expend that sum during Program Year 1995
(July 1, 1995 through June 30, 1996) for the purpose of supplementing administrative ($88,224)
and support costs ($98,776).
