AN ORDINANCE APPROVING MODIFICATION TO A
PLANNED ZONING DISTRICT AND PROVIDING FOR THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT TITLED
EMBASSY SIIITES -- AMENDED LONG -FORM PD -C
(Z- 5887 -A), LOCATED AT 11301 FINANCIAL CENTER
PARKWAY, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.16,842 AND CHAPTER 36,
SECTION 36 -176 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No.
16,842, passed February 7, 1995, establishing EMBASSY SUITES
SHORT -FORM PD -C (Z- 5887), rezoned that part of Lot 38 lying
south of the Financial Center Parkway right -of -way and all
of Lot 43, West Highland Addition, from R -2 to PD -C; and,
WHEREAS, the area to be included in the PD -C is amended
to include an additional 2.31 acre tract located adjacent to
and to the east of Lot 43, West Highland Addition;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 16,842, passed on
February 7, 1995, be amended to provide for modification of
the Planned Zoning District described as EMBASSY SUITES
SHORT -FORM PD -C (Z- 5887);
SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the
following described property, located adjacent to and to the
east of Lot 43, West Highland Addition, be changed from R -2
to PD -C:
A parcel of land in Section 4, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Little
Rock, Arkansas, being more particularly described as
Lot 44, West Highland Addition;
SECTION 3. That the revised Site Development Plan
be approved as recommended by the Little Rock Planning
Commission.
SECTION 4. That the establishment of the zoning
classification for EMBASSY SIIITES -- AMENDED LONG -FORM PD -C
(Z- 5887 -A), and located at 11301 Financial Center Parkway,
is conditioned upon obtaining final plan approval within the
time specified by Article vii, Section VII, Chapter 36 of
the Code of Ordinances.

SECTION 5. That the map referred to in Chapter 36-
81. and 36 -82. of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, and the designated district map and
its is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects
necessary to affect the designated change provided for in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 6. That this ORDINANCE shall take effect
and be in full force upon final approval of the plan by the
Planning Commission.
