ORDINANCE NO. 16,929
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH WISCONSIN PARTNERSHIP FOR
HOUSING DEVELOPMENT, INC. (WPHD) IN
THE AMOUNT OF $76,337 TO DEVELOP AN
ACTION PLAN FOR A LAND BANK
AUTHORITY, HOUSING PARTNERSHIP AND
AFFORDABLE HOUSING REFERENCE MANUAL;
REAPPROPRIATING FUNDS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Land Bank Authority /Housing Partnership
Implementation Task Force has recommended that the City enter
into a formal contractual agreement with Wisconsin Partnership
for Housing Development, Inc. (WPHD); and
WHEREAS, this contract will consist of developing a plan of
action, develop and implement a Land Bank Authority, Housing
partnership and Affordable Housing Reference Manual.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to enter into an
agreement with Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development,
Inc. (WPHD) in the amount of $76,337 to develop an action plan
for a Land Bank Authority, Housing Partnership and Affordable
Housing Reference Manual.
SECTION 2. Funding is available for this contract in
account number 210 - 030 -0348.
SECTION 3. Thirty -Five Thousand Dollars ($35,000) is hereby
transferred from the FUTURE - Little Rock reserve account number
100 -8531 to special project account number 210- 030 -0348 for this
contract.
