ORDINANCE NO. 16,926
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE
NUMBER 16,797 ( "THE 1995 BUDGET
ORDINANCE ") TO TRANSFER BUILDING
MAINTENANCE FUNDS FROM THE PARKS
DEPARTMENT TO THE GENERAL SERVICES
DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on December 14, 1995, the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, adopted the 1995 Budget Ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the 1995 Budget Ordinance be
amended to centralize building maintenance budgeted funds and responsibilities within
the General Services Department, which requires the transfer of these budgeted funds
from the Parks and Recreation Department to the General Services Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The 1995 Program Budget Summary attached to ordinance No.
16,797, the 1995 Budget Ordinance, is hereby amended to increase or decrease the
budgets for the following organizations in the amounts indicated:
Organization Name Increase /Decrease
1410 Building Services $42,067
3350 Community Centers ($19,092)
3220 Park Maintenance ($22,975)
SECTION 2: The Little Rock Finance Department is hereby authorized and
directed to make the adjustments necessary to the various budget accounts within the
above listed organizations to accomplish the centralization of the building maintenance
services within the General Services Department.
