ORDINANCE NO. 16,924
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY LAND USE
PLAN ( #16222) IN THE CHENAL DISTRICT,
NORTHEAST OF CHENAL PARKWAY AND WEST OF
ST. CHARLES, RECLASSIFYING PROPOSED LAND
USES, AND FOR OTHER MATTERS.
WHEREAS, the Planning Staff finds it appropriate to
amend the Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission agrees with the
proposed changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. A large nonsingle family area (office,
commercial, multifamily and public) located at the proposed
intersection of Loyola and Wellington is changed to single
family.
SECTION 2. An area of multifamily, north of an
existing Methodist church (along Chenal at Kanis), is
changed to neighborhood commercial.
SECTION 3. An area north of a proposed arterial,
either side of the intersection with Wellington is amended
from multi and single family to suburban office.
SECTION 4. Two areas of multifamily are added one
north of the proposed suburban office and west of
Wellington; the other is a straightening of the multifamily
- single family dividing line north of the proposed
arterial.
SECTION 5. The Plan map is amended as shown on the
attached sketch map.
