0 10 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas has
U) 11 12 established a reserve with unspent proceeds from the local sales tax to be used for
"
13 implementing the FUTURE- Little Rock initiatives; and
14 WHEREAS, in Ordinance No. 16,847 the Board authorized a contract with the
15 Arkansas Institute of Government to provide evaluation services on the effectiveness of
16 the FUTURE- Little Rock programs.

18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
19 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

21 SECTION 1. The sum of $108,000 is hereby appropriated from the FUTURE -
22 Little Rock reserve account of the General Fund for payment of the contract with the
23 Arkansas Institute of Government. The funds are hereby directed to be transferred
24 from the General Fund to a new account to be established in the Special Projects Fund.
