AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, PROVIDING FOR A FIVE (5) YEAR
DEFERRAL OF STREET IMPROVEMENT REQUIREMENTS
TO GEYER SPRINGS ROAD FOR THE SOUTHWEST
CHRISTIAN ACADEMY TO BE LOCATED AT 11301
GEYER SPRINGS ROAD (Z- 5786).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be
amended to provide for a five (5) year deferral of certain
requirements within the Subdivision Ordinance and Master Street
Plan of the City of Little Rock for the Southwest Christian
Academy to b'e located at 11301 Geyer Springs Road, as follows:
Subsection a. That the requirements of Chapter 31 be
deferred for the purpose of complying with conditions
pursuant to a Conditional Use Permit issued by the Little
Rock Planning Commission, allowing for the construction of a
private school /daycare to be located at 11301 Geyer Springs
Road (Z- 5786).
Subsection b. The specific improvements to be deferred are
curb, gutter, sidewalk, and one -half of minor arterial
street improvements along the east side of Geyer Springs
Road for a distance of 210 feet adjacent to the proposed
private school /daycare site.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30)
days from and after its passage.
