ORDINANCE NO. 16,701
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS PROVIDING FOR A DEFERRAL
OF STREET IMPROVEMENTS TO LAWSON ROAD
FOR THE COMMUNITY FELLOWSHIP CHURCH TO
BE LOCATED IN THE 14100 BLOCK OF LAWSON
ROAD (Z- 5736).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 of the Code of Ordinances be
amended to provide for a deferral of certain requirements within
the Subdivision Ordinance and Master Street Plan of the City of
Little Rock for the Community Fellowship Church to be located in
the 14100 Block of Lawson Road, as follows:
Subsection a. That Chapter 31 be deferred for the
purpose of complying with conditions pursuant to a
conditional use permit issued by the Little Rock
Planning Commission allowing for the phased
construction of a church, private school and church
camp to be located in the 14100 Block of Lawson
Road (z- 5736).
Subsection b. The specific improvements to be
deferred are curb, gutter, sidewalk and one -half of
minor arterial street improvements along the south
side of Lawson Road for a distance of 160 feet
adjacent to the proposed Community Fellowship
Church site.
Subsection c. The required improvements are to be
deferred for a period not to exceed five (5) years
or until Phase II of Community Fellowship Church's
building plan is implemented, whichever comes
first.
SECTION 2. This ORDINANCE shall take effect thirty (30)
days from and after its passage.
