ORDINANCE NO. 16,700
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK PLANNING BOUNDARY AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock believes with limited
resources it is more beneficial to the City to use these
resources in Pulaski County only; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock is not likely to be
able to annex lands outside of Pulaski County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. All areas within the Little Rock Planning
Area and outside of Pulaski County are removed from the
City's Planning Jurisdiction.
SECTION 2. Starting at the SW corner of the SE 1/4 SE
1/4 Section 34, T -1 -N, R -14 -W, the Planning Boundary shall
following the county line East and South to Alexander, then
following the city limits the Boundary will continue
generally south and east to the old railroad right -of -way.
At this point the county line the Boundary shall follow the
Pulaski /Saline County line East and South to the SW corner
of Section 30, T -1 -S, R -12 -W. From this point the Boundary
will continue its course as described in Ordinance No.
15,443 of March 1, 1988.
