AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY LAND
USE PLAN IN THE GEYER SPRINGS WEST
DISTRICT TO COMMERCIAL SOUTH OF
INTERSTATE 30 AND EAST OF MABELVALE PIKE
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Planning Staff, after review of the area,
recommends the plan be modified; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommends a more intensive
land use pattern.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The area north of Davmar to 1 -30 and East of
Mabelvale Pike to the Merrivale Subdivision is changed to
commercial from single family, mixed office commercial, and
industrial.
SECTION 2. An open space buffer is added south of the new
commercial area, continuing south to an existing open space
buffer east of Mavis Circle.
SECTION 3. The City's adopted land use plan map is changed
as shown on the attached sketch.
