HomeMy WebLinkAbout158520 0 158 ORDINANCE NO. 15,852 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO CARRIAGE CREEK PROPERTY OWNERS' IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 639 OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS WHEREAS, parties claiming to be a majority in value or more in assessed value of real property located within the territory hereinafter described have filed petitions praying that all real property embraced within said territory be annexed to Carriage Creek Property Owners' Improvement District No. 639 of Little Rock, Arkansas, for the purposes hereinafter set out; and WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, has heard all the parties desiring to be heard, has ascertained that said petitions were signed by a majority in value or more in assessed value of the owners of real property within said territory sought to be annexed, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas: Section 1: That there is hereby annexed to Carriage Creek Property Owners' Improvement District No. 639 of Little Rock, Arkansas, the following property located in the County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to wit: A Tract of Land lying in the NW 1/4 and SW 1/4, Section 31, T -2 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas and being more particularly described as: Commencing at the Southeast corner of the SW 1/4, Section 31, T -2 -N, R -13 -W; thence N 000 39' 47" E 1310.59 feet to the Point of beginning; thence N 880 42' 30" W 1982.13' to a point 507.80' East to the West line of Section 31; Thence N 010 20' 00" E and parallel to the West line of Section 31, 1699.211; thence S 880 49' 10" E 71.101; thence N 010 04' 48" E 392.191; thence N 880 0-Ai-3 a -7 50' 53" W 69.37; thence N 010 20' 00" E 1307.28'; thence S 880 57' 19" E 372.81'; thence S 000 50' 48" W 130.790; thence S 880 56' 47" E 928.491; thence S 000 20' 19" W 130.951; thence S 880 56' 12" E 309.88'; thence N 000 10' 04" E 131.001; thence S 880 56' 47" E 309.50' to the West line of the NE 1/4, Section 31, T -2 -N, R -13 -W; thence N 000 00' 01" W 3296.071; thence S 880 55' 44" E 330.721; thence S 400 SO' 00" E 1420.001; thence S 580 44' 50" E 1633.201; thence S 000 14' 50" E 4612.111; thence N 880 33' 15" W 2645.60' to the Southwest corner NE 1/4 Section 31, T -2 -N, R -13 -W; thence S 000 39' 47" W on the East line of the SW 1/4, Section 31, 1339.54' to the Point of Beginning, less and except Lots 439 and 438, Dairy Farm Addition, containing 9,993,506.9 Sq. Ft. or 228.04 acres, more or less. for the purposes of constructing facilities for waterworks, water distribution, recreation, drainage, gas pipelines, sanitary sewers, roads and highways (including curbs and gutters) and sidewalks within the boundaries of the said property owners' improvement district and to the above described territory hereby annexed; said purposes to be accomplished in the manner and of the materials that the commissioners of the District shall deem to be in the best interest of the District including the financing and refinancing of the improvements described herein, and the cost thereof to be assessed on the real property of the District and the real property above described according to the benefits received.
