AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FROM THE
CITY `S ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUND FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF RAMP IMPROVEMENTS AT THE LITTLE
ROCK REGIONAL AIRPORT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH WEAVER -
BAILEY CONSTRUCTION COMPANY; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: There is hereby appropriated the sum of $2,725,000
from the City's Economic Development Fund for construction of ramp
improvements at the Little Rock Regional Airport.
SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter into
a contract for construction of aircraft ramp improvements with
Weaver - Bailey Construction Company for a sum not to exceed
$3,138,379.60 and to enter into an agreement with Arkansas
Modification, Inc. to obtain their funding of the excess of
construction and engineering costs over the City's appropriations
pursuant to Ordinance 15,826, and Section 1 above.
