AN AMENDMENT TO THE I- 430'LAND USE PLAN
NORTH OF COLONEL GLEN AND EAST OF
SHACKLEFORD AND OTHER MATTERS
WHEREAS, after reviewing the land use change at a
public hearing the Little Rock Planning Commission approved
the plan change; and,
WHEREAS, the amendment makes a clear statement as to
the future expansion of industrial use to the north; and,
WHEREAS, there appears to be a need for
office /warehouse type development in west Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The industrial area north of Colonel Glen
and either side of Shackleford is enlarged to the north,
changing an area from multifamily to industrial.
SECTION 2. Along the north edge of the new industrial
line, an 'OS' open space area is added to the plan to
clearly delineate the north boundary for industrial
development.
