ORDINANCE NO. 15,865
AN ORDINANCE TO APPROPRIATE $95,000 FROM THE
UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND BALANCE FOR THE
PURCHASE OF PARK LAND IN SOUTHWEST LITTLE ROCK,
DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There shall be appropriated from the
unappropriated revenues of the general fund of the City of
Little Rock the sum of $95,000 to be used for the purchase of
aproximately 30.177 acres in Southwest Little Rock as an
addition to Hindman Park of the Little Rock Parks Department.
The land to be purchased is more specifically described in
Exhibit A to this ordinance.

IDENTIFICATION OF THE PROPERTY
The property being appraised is located in the southwestern extreme of the
city of Little Rock in Pulaski County, Arkansas. It is accessible from the
west through an extension with Tall Timber Boulevard that connects Stagecoach
Road to the Tall Timber Addition.
The subject site consists of 30.177 acres, more or less.
Legally, the property is described as follows:
A tract of land located in the SE} SW}, Section 23, and in the NE}
NW}, Section 26, all in Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the NU NW} said Section 26,
said corner being located on the East line of Lot 215, Tall Timber,
an addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; thence North 0°
11' 33" East, along the East line of said Lot 215, 25.0 feet to the
Southeast corner of Lot 214, said Tall Timber Addition; thence North
6° 38' 33" East along the East line of said Lot 214 and the East
line of Lot 213, said Tall Timber Addition, 144.4 feet to the
Southeast corner of Lot 212, said Tall Timber Addition; thence North
12° 28' 40" East along the East line of said Lot 212, 110.9 feet to
the Northeast corner thereof; thence North 30° 21' 40" East, 52.8
feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 211, said Tall Timber Addition;
thence North 11° 35' 40" East along the East line of said Lot 211,
130.0 feet to the Northeast corner thereof; thence South 79° 56' 52"
East 286.74 feet; thence North 440 43' 09" East, 288.50 feet; thence
South 77° 54' 19" East, 143.18 feet; thence North, 110.0 feet;
thence East, 613.14 feet to a point on the East line of the SEa SW;
said Section 23; thence South 10 13' 36" West along said East line,
689.53 feet to the Southeast corner thereof, said corner also being
the Northeast corner of the NE; NWa of said Section 26; thence South
0° 08' 50" West along the East line of said NE} NW1, 493.6 feet;
thence North 89° 50' 10" West, 746.0 feet; thence North 0° 08' 50"

point on the West line of said NE; NW;, said point also being
