AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE MASTER STREET
PLAN • FOR OTHER

WHEREAS, the City Staff in late 1987 initiated three
amendments to the Master Street Plan to clarify alignments of Bond
Projects; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission approved all three
amendments (David O. Dodd /Bowman Connection, Mabelvale Railroad
Crossing /2nd Street (Mabelvale), and 57th Street) in November of
1987, after two public hearings; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors discussed the issue at
length through the first half of 1988; and
WHEREAS, the Revised Master Street Plan approved by the
Board on August 2, 1988, included the Mabelvale realignments (2nd
Street and Main Street).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1: That the 2nd Street alignment in Mabelvale,
from Mabelvale Pike to Mabelvale West is a minor arterial.
SECTION 2: That Main Street (Mabelvale) from 2nd Street
(Mabelvale) to Mabelvale Cutoff is a minor arterial.
