AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
IN LOT 1 OF THE REPLAT OF PLEASANT PLACE
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas on the lst day
of March 1 1991 asking the Board of Directors to
vacate that designated portion of the public utility easement
designated on the replat of the Pleasant Place Addition to the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, now appearing of record in Plat
Book 31, Page 5, in the office of the Recorder of Pulaski County,
Arkansas.
WHEREAS, after due notice as required by law, the Board has,
at the time and place mentioned in the notice, heard all persons
desiring to be heard on the question and has ascertained that the
easement, or portion thereof, hereinbefore described, has
heretofore been dedicated to the public use as a utility easement
herein described; has been abandoned by the public subsequent to
the filing of the plat; and that public interest and welfare will
not be adversely affected by the vacating of the utility
easement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, releases,
vacates and abandons all its rights, together with the rights of
the public generally, in and to the utility easement designated
as follows:
Part of a Drainage & Utility Easement
located on Lot 1, Pleasant Place Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, more
particularly described as: Starting at the
Southwest corner of said Lot 1, said corner
lying on the East right -of -way line of
Wentwood Valley Drive; thence Northeasterly
along the West line of said Lot 1, being the
arc of a 135 ft. radius curve to the left,
having a chord distance of 88.78 ft. to a
point; thence Northerly and continuing along
the West line of said Lot 1, 425.4 ft. to
the point of beginning; thence Northerly and
continuing along said West line 15.0 ft. to
a point; thence Easterly and perpendicular
to said West line, 80.0 ft. to a point;
thence Southerly and parallel with the West
line of said Lot 1, 10.0 ft, to a point;

thence Westerly and perpendicular to the 188
West line of said Lot 1, 60.0 ft. to a
point; thence Southwesterly 20.6 ft. to the
point of beginning.
SECTION 2. A copy of this Ordinance, duly certified by the
City Clerk, shall be filed in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County and recorded in the records of the County.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage and approval.
