5 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS
6 FOR THE FOURCHE CREEK DRAINAGE PROJECT.

9 WHEREAS, the City has previously appropriated funds for
10 the acquisition of land along the banks of Fourche Creek for flood
11 control; and
12 WHEREAS, the City has entered into an agreement with the
13 Corps of Engineers for a flood protection project in this area, and
14 as a part of such agreement the City is responsible for acquiring
15 right -of -way in the area; and
16
17 WHEREAS, additional funding is required to fulfill the
18 City's agreement with the Corps of Engineers.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
20 OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
21 SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the fund
22 balance of the City's Special Projects Fund $150,000 (One Hundred
23 and Fifty Thousand Dollars) to the Fourche Creek Project Right -Of-
24 Way Acquisition Account. There is also hereby appropriated from
25 the Reserve for Parks and Public Works in the City's Special
26 Projects Fund (Account 210 -8534) $150,000 (One Hundred and Fifty
27 Thousand Dollars) to the Fourche Creek Project Right -Of -Way
28 Acquisition Account.

SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated from the fund

31 balance of the City's Revenue Sharing Fund $175,000 (One Hundred
32 and Seventy -Five Thousand Dollars) to the Fourche Creek Project
33 Right -Of -Way Acquisition Account.
