ORDINANCE NO. 16,311
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT AND ESTABLISHING A PLANNED
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT TITLED GOLFING
CENTER PLANNED COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
(Z -5617) KANIS ROAD AT CHENAL PARKWAY
IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following described property be changed from R -2 Single
Family to (PCD) Planned Commercial District.
A parcel of land in NW 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 1,
T -1 -N, R -14 -W, Little Rock, Arkansas, being
more particularly described as follows:
The East 1/2 of Tract 40 and the South 300
feet of the West 1/2 of Tract 40 all in Unit
No. 1 of Independence Farms, a subdivision in
Pulaski County, Arkansas containing 2.1 acres
more or less and all of that part of the NW
1/4 NE 1/4, Section 1, T -1 -N, R -14 -W lying
South of the centerline of Kanis Road as now
closed and South of Chenal Parkway, except
the Easterly 300 feet thereof and except the
southerly 275 feet of the Westerly 1,000 feet
thereof containing 16 acres more or less total
site area 18.1 acres.
SECTION 2. That the preliminary site development
plan /plat be approved as recommended by the Little Rock
Planning Commission.
SECTION 3. That the change in zoning classification
contemplated for Golfing Center (Long -form PCD) is
conditioned upon obtaining a final plan approval within the
time specified by Chapter 36, Article VII, Section 36- 454(d)
of the Code of Ordinances.
SECTION 4. That the map referred in Chapter 36 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
designated district map be and it is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to affect and designate
the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.

SECTION 5. That this ORDINANCE shall take effect and
be in full force upon final approval of the plan.
