3 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $26,000 FROM
4 THE GENERAL FOND FOR THE ACQUISITION OF
5 SUPERCARTS FOR PUBLIC WORKS SANITATION
6 DEPARTMENT; AND $100,000 FROM THE
7 GENERAL FUND FOR UPGRADES TO THE PULA.SKI
8 AREA GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM
9 (PAGIS).

11 WHEREAS, the requested appropriation for the acquisition of
12 additional supercarts is necessary to equip new households as a
13 result of considerable new home construction on several of the
14 supercart routes; and
15 WHEREAS, the requested appropriation for upgrades to the
16 PAGIS system will allow development of more detailed reports
17 depicting statistics used by Police, Neighborhoods and Planning
18 and Public Works and other information compilations relevant to
19 the location and operation of alert centers.
20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
21 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
22 SECTION 1: The sum of $26,000 is hereby appropriated from
23 the general fund balance for the acquisition of additional
24 supercarts for Public Works Sanitation Department.
25 SECTION 2: The sum of $100,000 is hereby appropriated from
26 the general fund balance for upgrades to the PAGIS system.
27 SECTION 3: To the extent that this transfer amends the
28 1992 budget ordinance for the City of Little Rock -- LRO 16,137
29 (December 17, 1991) -- this ordinance shall serve as such
30 amendment.
31 SECTION 4: All laws and parts of laws inconsistent with
32 this provision are hereby repealed to the extent of such
33 inconsistency.
