ORDINANCE NO. 16, 165
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT AND ESTABLISHING A P.O.D.
DISTRICT TITLED HIX P.O.D. (Z -5515) IN
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AMENDING CHAPTER 36 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following described property be changed from R -2 to P.O.D.
A parcel of land at 5315 Baseline Road, Little Rock,
Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows:
The West 75 feet and the North 200 feet of Tract No. 9,
Spark's Acres, City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas.
SECTION 2. That the preliminary site development
plan /plat be approved as recommended by the Little Rock
Planning Commission.
SECTION 3. That all 0-3 zoning uses plus uses listed
below be allowed by right.
1. Antique Shop
2. Barber or Beauty Shop
3. Book and Stationary Store
4. Camera Shop
5. Cigar, Tobacco and Candy Store
6. Clothing Store
7. Florist
8. Hardware or Sporting Goods Store
9. Hobby Shop
10. Jewelry Store
11. Key Shop
12. Medical Appliances Fittings and Sales
13. Optical Shop
14. Pet Shop
15. Secondhand Store, Used Furniture or Rummage Shop
16. Shoe Repair
17. Tailor
18. Tool and Equipment Rental (inside display only)
19. Cabinet or Woodwork Shop
20. Appliance Repair
21. Furniture Repair Store

SECTION 4. That the change in zoning classification
contemplated for Hix (Short -form P.O.D.) is conditioned upon
obtaining a final plan approval within the time specified by
Chapter 36, Article VIZ, Section 36- 454(d) of the Code of
Ordinances.
SECTION 5. That the map referred in Chapter 36 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and
designated district map be and it is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to affect and designate
the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 6. That this ORDINANCE shall take effect and
be in full force upon final approval of the plan.
SECTION 7. That landscaping and paving to be provided
at the time of building permit or more intensive use.
