ORDINANCE NO. 16,543
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY LAND
USE PLAN IN THE CENTRAL CITY DISTRICT
IN AN AREA FROM 22ND TO 26TH STREETS
AND IZARD TO MAIN, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, after review of the existing and likely future
development pattern for the area Planning Staff recommends
modification of the plan; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission after review and public
comment recommends the new use pattern.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The intersection of 23rd Street and Arch Street
is changed from Mixed Use to Commercial.
SECTION 2. The northwest and southwest corners of the Arch
Street and Roosevelt Road Intersection is changed to Commercial
from Mixed Use.
SECTION 3. The southwest and southeast corners of the
Broadway and Roosevelt Road Intersection is changed from
Commercial to Office.
SECTION 4. The north side of Roosevelt Road from State to
Gaines is changed from Single Family to Office.
SECTION 5. The southwest corner of the Roosevelt Road and
State Street Intersection is changed from Public Institutional to
Office.
SECTION 6. Either side of Gaines from 24th Street south is
changed from Single Family to Mixed Use.
SECTION 7. The southwest and southeast corners of the
Louisiana Street and Roosevelt Road Intersection is changed from
Single Family to Mixed Use.
SECTION 8. The west side of Spring Street form 23rd Street
to 24th Street is changed from Mixed Use to Public Institutional.
SECTION 9. The northeast corner of the Louisiana Street and
26th Street Intersection is changed from Single Family to Public
Institutional.

SECTION 10. The City's adopted land use plan is hereby
changed to reflect this amendment.
