4 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 16,331 (THE 1993
5 BUDGET ORDINANCE) TRANSFERRING FUNDS FOR WORKERS'
6 COMPENSATION COSTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas passed
11 the Budget Ordinance of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas for 1993 on December 21,
12 1992; and
13 WHEREAS, the funds appropriated for workers' compensation costs have been
14
15 exhausted, and the City self- insures for these costs and must pay them as incurresd; and
16 WHEREAS, staff projections indicate that certain organizations will not fully
17 utilize the funds appropriated to them, and the budget surplus in these organizations can
18
be transferred to meet other needs of the City; and

20 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
21
22 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
23 SECTION 1. That $125,000 be transferred from Organization 2210 salary
24 account and that $75,000 be transferred from Organization 2310 salary account, and that
25
the combined $200,000 be transferred to the Special Projects Fund and be designated
26
27 for the street resurfacing project.
28 SECTION 2. That the revenue projections upon which the 19931'Biudget
29 Ordinance was based be amended to reduce b $200,000 the transfer of Coun 'ales

Taxes from the General Fund to the Special Projects Fund.

32 SECTION 3. That Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000) is hereby
33 appropriated from the General Fund balance to the workers' compensation account in

Organization 6510.

SECTION 4. That all other provisions of Ordinance No. 16,331 shall remain in
full force and effect.
