AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS FROM
THE SPECIAL PROJECTS FUND AND A RESERVE BALANCE
SHEET ACCOUNT TO THE 1988 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
BOND FUND; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ACCEPT BIDS AND AWARD A CONTRACT
FOR ELEVATOR INSTALLATION AT THE MUSEUM OF
SCIENCE AND HISTORY.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, has appropriated funding for Museum
of science and History capital improvements and to comply
with ADA Act requirements; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to consolidate the
accounting for the cost of the Museum capital improvements
into one project in the same fund in order to maintain
accurate and complete records of the use of these funds and
bond proceeds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
transfer $15,000 from special project account 210- 214 -0249
and $56,000 from balance sheet account 210 -8521 into account
301 - 900 -0042 in the 1988 Capital Improvement Bond Fund
(Museum Improvements).

SECTION 2: The City Manager is hereby authorized to
award a contract to Core Construction for purchase and
installation of an elevator at the Museum of Science and
History in an amount of $74,300.
