ORDINANCE NO. 16,399
AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CITY LAND
USE PLAN IN THE CHENAL DISTRICT,
LOCATED NORTH OF THE MARKHAM- CHENAL
PARKWAY INTERSECTION, FROM PUBLIC USE
TO OPEN SPACE AND MULTIFAMILY TO
PUBLIC AND COMMERCIAL USES; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, after review of the conditions staff recommends the
plan be updated, and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission believes the new uses to be
more appropriate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. Areas to the northwest of the Markham - Chenal
Parkway Intersection in the Chenal District of the City Land Use
Plan are changed from Public Use to Park /Open Space (both north
and south of the Rock Creek).
SECTION 2. The area north and east of Markham - Chenal
Parkway Intersection is changed from Multifamily to Public (west)
and Commercial (east).
SECTION 3. The City's adopted land use plan map is hereby
changed to reflect this amendment.
