HomeMy WebLinkAbout150921 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 0 0 166 ORDINANCE NO. 15,092 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION- .13= 13(c)OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO DECREASE THE READY TO SERVICE FEE FROM 10 MILLS TO 5.6 MILLS ON CONTRACTS FOR FIRE SERVICE PROTECTION FOR BUSINESSES LOCATED OUTSIDE THE CITY LIMITS; AND AUTHORIZING THE LITTLE ROCK FIRE DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE FIRE SERVICE FOR ONE YEAR TO CERTAIN BUSINESSES OUTSIDE THE CITY. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF'LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: Section 1. Section 13 -13(c) of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock is hereby amended to read as follows: (c) Ready to serve fee. The applicant shall pay in advance to the City Collector an annual ready to serve fee in an amount which is the product of 5.6 mills times the current assessed evaluation of the property as reflected by the records of the Pulaski County Tax Assessor. Section 2. The Little Rock'Fire Department is hereby authorized to provide service on a contract basis to Siemen's - Allis, 14000 Dineen Drive; Independent Air Conditioning, 12221 Arch Street; 3M Granite P1ant,3M Road; 3M Plant on Arch Street Pike; Levi Strauss, 15000 Panatela Parkway; Industrial Development Company of Little Rock, 2200 East 145th Street; and Riffe Petroleum, 89 Shamburger Lane. In addition, in the event the Little Rock Fire. Department responds to an alarm, each business will pay $100.06 . per company responding to the alarm for each hour of service provided.
