AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owners of the hereinafter
described lands, praying that said lands be annexed to and
made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and,
WHEREAS, November 12, 1986, the County Court of Pulaski

manner prescribed by law, and that said lands should be annexed
to and made a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject
to the acceptance of same by the Board of Directors of said City
at the proper time as provided by law; and

WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said order
of annexation made by the County Court has expired and no appeal
has been taken from said order;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described lands contiguous
to and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and the
same are hereby, accepted as part of the annexed to and made a
part of the City of Little Rock: The following described area,
all lying wholly within Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:

Commencing at the NW corner of the SW 1/4, SE 1/4, of said
Section 18, said NW corner lying on the existing city limits
line for the City of Little Rock; thense S 840 49' 02" E,
along the North line of said SW 1/4, SE 1/4, and said
existing city limits line, 137.10 feet to the West right -of-
way line of Mablevale Pike, an 80 foot right -of -way, for the
Point of Beginning; thence continue S 840 49' 02" E, along
said North line and said existing city limits line, 1250.20
feet to the NE corner of said SW 1/4, SE 1/4,; thence
leaving said North line and said existing city limits line,
S 110 13' 45" E, 162.69 feet; thence S 000 40' 59" E, 225.30
feet; thence S 090 00' 59" E, 135.01 feet; thence S 730 28'
52" W, 1297.98 feet to the West right -of -way line of
Mablevale Pike; thence Northwesterly along the West right -of-
way line of Mablevale Pike, 326.95 feet; thence Northerly
along the West right -of -way line of Mablevale Pike 675.3
feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 22.3 acres more
or less, including all street and public rights -of -ways
contained within the above described property.
