AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY.OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following property be and is hereby changed as indicated.
Z- 3727 -C - described as: Part of Lot 5, amended plat
of Jay Smith Subdivision, Little Rock, Arkansas, more
particularly described as: starting at the common
corner of Lots 407, 408 and 492, Kingwood Place
Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and said
Lot 5, Jay Smith Subdivision; thence S 90 10' 30" W
along the easterly lot line of said Lot 5 86.60 feet to
the point of beginning; thence S 9° 10' 30" W and
continuing along said easterly line 100.0 feet to a
point, said point being the SW corner of said Lot 492,
Kingwood Place Addition; thence S 78° 28' 05" E along
the South line of said Lot 492, 50.4 feet to a point;
thence S 25° 32' 45" W, 26.25 feet to the NE corner of
Lot 3, said Jay Smith Subdivision; thence N 760 06' W
along the North line of said Lot 3 and along the North
line of Lot 2 said Jay Smith Subdivision 135.0 feet to
the NW corner of said Lot 2, said corner being located
on the eastern most common lot line between said Lot 5
and Lot 4 said Jay Smith Subdivision; thence
N 240 47' E along said common lot line and said line
extended northeasterly 120.58 feet to a point; thence
S 80° 49' 30" E, 59.14 feet to the point of beginning
containing 10,500 square feet or 0.2353 acres, more or
less, from "R -5" Urban Residence to "C -3" General
Commercial (north of Cantrell, west of Kingsrow).
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated district map be and is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
