ORDINANCE NO. 15,237
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF
LIFE INSURANCE POLICIES FROM MUTUAL OF OMAHA
FOR CITY OF LITTLE ROCK RETIREES.
WHEREAS, on October 21, 1986, the Board of Directors
adopted a resolution to extend indefinitely the life insurance
coverage for twenty -eight (28) retired City employees; and
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock has obtained bids from
various insurance companies for a single - premium life insurance
coverage for the retirees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. There is hereby appropriated from the City's
General Fund the sum of $98,270.51 for a single premium payment
to"Mutual of Omaha for life insurance coverage for twenty -eight
(28) retired employees of the City of Little Rock.
