AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY
LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following property be and is hereby changed as indicated.
Z -4839 - Described as part of the NE, SE, Section 18,
T -1 -N, R -12 -W, City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the NE corner of the NE, SE, Section 18,
T -1 -N, R -12 -W, City of Little Rock, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, thence N 890 8' W, 571.59 feet along the
north line of the said NE, SE, to the point of
beginning and a point on a line parallel to and 100
feet easterly of a 500 foot extension of the Quality
Foods building; thence S 0° 48' 28" W, 553.29 feet
along the said parallel line to a point on the line
parallel to and 100 feet southerly of the hereinbefore
said extension of the Quality Foods building; thence N
890 11' 32" W, 378.55 feet along the said parallel
line; thence S 46° 42' 18" W, 274.22 feet; thence S 70°
57' 13" W, 145.01 feet to a point on the west line of
the hereinbefore said NE, SE; thence N 10 52' 40" W,
645.74 feet along the said west line NE, SE; thence S

feet to a point on the north line of the hereinbefore

east line of the said NE, SE, to the centerline of
Fourche Creek; thence southwesterly along the meanders

feet to a point on a line parallel to and 100 feet
southerly of the proposed south line of a 500 feet
extension of the existing Quality Foods building;

easterly of the proposed east line of the hereinbefore

parallel line to a point on the north line of the
hereinbefore said NE, SE; thence S 890 8' E, 571.59
feet along the said north line to the point of
beginning, containing 9.3 acres, more or less, from
"R -2" Single Family to "O -S" Open Space (southeast of
the intersection of Mary Street and West 34th Street).
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated district map be and is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to affect and designate
the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
