AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF 31 J
CERTAIN LANDS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AND MAKING SAME A PART OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with the County Clerk of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, by the owner of the hereinafter
described lands, praying that said lands be annexed to and made
a part of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; and

"' WHEREAS, on June 10, 1987, the County Court of Pulaski

majority of the owners in area and in number of the following

described lands located in Pulaski County, Arkansas; that said
u°1 lands are contiguous and adjoining the present corporate limits

of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas; that an accurate plat or

v map of said lands had been filed with and made a part of said

petition; that proper notice had been given for the time and in
the manner prescribed by law, and that all things pertaining
thereto had been done in the manner prescribed by law, and that
said lands should be annexed to and made a part of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, subject to the acceptance of same by the
Board of Directors of said City at the proper time as provided
by law; and
WHEREAS, the time fixed by law for appealing from said
order of annexation made by the County Court has expired and no
appeal has been taken from said order;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

to and adjoining the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, be, and the
same are hereby, accepted as part of and annexed to and made a
part of the City of Little Rock:
The following described area, all lying wholly within
Pulaski County, Arkansas, to -wit:
The E1 /2 of the SW1 /4 Section 32, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as:
Starting at the NW corner, Section 32, T -1 -N, R -13 -W;
thence S00° 26032 "E, 1320.93 feet; thence N89Q 49137 "E,
1306.83 feet; thence 5000 35013 11E, 1312.94 feet to the
point of beginning; thence S890 24111 11E, 1298.22 feet;
thence S00° 03007 11W, 2632.74 feet; thence N 890 22101 "W,
1298.22 feet; thence N00O 03106 11E, 2631.92 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 3,417,178.202 square feet
or 78.448 acres more or less, and including all adjacent
street right -of -way.
