AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO THE FIRM OF O'LEARY,
BROKAW & ASSOCIATES FOR DEVELOPMENT AND
IMPLEMENTATION OF A WORK SIMULATION SYSTEM
TO BE USED AS PART OF THE PROMOTION PROCESS
FOR CERTAIN FIRE AND POLICE POSITIONS; AND
APPROPRIATING $98,482 FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED
FUND BALANCE OF THE GENERAL FUND.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. In compliance with Section 2 -44(b) of the
Little Rock Code of Ordinances dealing with the selection of
professional services, the City Manager is hereby authorized to
award a contract to O'Leary, Brokaw & Associates for the
development and implementation of a Work Simulation System to be
used as part of the promotion process for certain fire and police
positions.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated the sum of
$98,482 from the unappropriated fund balance of the City's
General Fund.
