ORDINANCE NO. 15,400
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE WINDING UP OF LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 138, AFFIRMING THE FINANCIAL REPORT
THEREOF, AND DISCHARGING THE COMMISSIONERS OF LITTLE ROCK
MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 138 FROM FURTHER DUTIES.
WHEREAS, the duly appointed Commissioners of Little Rock
Municipal Improvement District No. 138 have filed a petition
requesting permission to wind up Little Rock Municipal
Improvement District No. 138 (the "District "), such District
being made up of the real property located in the territory
hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, the petitioners avow that all bonds issued by the
District and all indebtedness incurred by the District have been
paid; and
WHEREAS, special assessment taxes are no longer being levied
and collected on the real property that makes up the District;
and
WHEREAS, no special assessment taxes are delinquent or owed
to the District and the District has not acquired any land due
to nonpayment of special assessment taxes; and
WHEREAS, the District possesses no funds of any sort,
including funds derived from the collection of special
assessment taxes; and
WHEREAS, petitioners further request that the financial
report of the District dated November 6, 1987 be affirmed, and
that the Commissioners of the District be discharged from
further duties;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas:
SECTION 1. There is hereby permitted winding up of Little
Rock Municipal Improvement District No. 138 embracing the
following property, to wit:
Part of the NE 1/4 NE 1/4 and Part of the SE
1/4 NE 1/4, Section 16, and Part of the NW 1/4
NW 1/4 and Part of the SW 1/4 NW 1/4, Section
15, T -1 -N, R -11 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
described by metes and bounds as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the S
1/2 NE 1/4 NE 1/4, Section 16, T -1 -N, R -11 -W,
Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence run S 88 056'

E, 30 feet to the point of beginning, which
point is the Southwest corner of Lot 84,
Hermitage Home Sites Addition to the City of
Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence
continue S 88 056' E along the South line of
said addition, 1,719.7 feet to the Southeast
corner of Lot 99 of said addition; thence S
10 °44'59" E, 202.81 feet to a point; thence S
22 057'49" E, 174.5 feet to a point; thence S
26 051'12" E, 133.07 feet to a point on the
Northerly right -of -way line of the East Belt
Freeway; thence Southwesterly and
Northwesterly along said Northerly
right -of -way line the following bearings and
distances; S 48 034'53" W, 45.87 feet; S
53 °52'14" W, 276.26 feet; S 61 036'16" W,
375.77 feet; S 72 043143" W, 384.12 feet; S
86 004'48" W, 304.37 feet; S 89 041'44" W,
616.12 feet; N 1 °46'30" W, 178.16 feet; N
5 °32'03" W, 190.57 feet and N 89 013'12" W,
10.0 feet to a point on the East right -of -way
line of Fourche Dam Pike; thence N 2 001'44" E
along the East right -of -way line of Fourche
Dam Pike, 653.23 feet to the point of
beginning, containing 37.5231 acres, more or
less.
SECTION 2. The financial report dated November 6, 1987 of
Little Rock Municipal Improvement District No. 138 is hereby
affirmed.
SECTION 3. The Commissioners of Little Rock Municipal
Improvement District No. 138 are discharged from performance of
further duties.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage.
