HomeMy WebLinkAbout154360 0 U N v H ro U v s4 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 33 34 35 36 ORDINANCE NO. 15,436 AN ORDINANCE CONDEMNING CERTAIN PARCELS OF REAL PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS IN ORDER TO CLEAR TITLE FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC SCHOOL; DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO INSTITUTE CONDEMNATION PROCEEDINGS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS: SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock does hereby condemn for public purpose being to clear title to public lands for the construction of public school improvements, the following parcels of real property lying in the City of Little Rock, County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to -wit: Beginning at the Northwest corner of Block 23, Garland's Addition to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; run thence East along the North boundary of said Block 23 to the Northeast corner of Block 24 of said Garland's Addition; thence North 06 degrees 58 minutes 19 seconds East 62.20 feet; thence North 89 degrees 47 minutes 42 seconds West 25.17 feet; thence West along the South boundary of Blocks 9 and 10 of said Garland's Addition to the Southwest corner of Block 10 of said Garland's Addition; thence South 00 degrees 16 minutes 13 seconds West 60 feet more or less to the Point of Beginning. Containing 0.7176 acre (31,260 square feet) more or less. SECTION 2. The City of Little Rock hereby declares that the above described parcel of land is needed for public purpose as aforesaid and that it desires to acquire fee simple title to said parcel which is presently owned by the Estate and Unknown Heirs of Onetha L. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
