ORDINANCE NO. 15,510
AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AUTHORIZING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT
FOR THE SALE OF WATER TO THE CITY OF BRYANT,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, the City of Bryant, Arkansas ( "Bryant ") is a
city of the first class created under the laws of the State of
Arkansas, and is interested in buying water from the Little Rock
Municipal Water Works (the "Water Works ") to serve the needs of
its customers; and
WHEREAS, Bryant and Water Works have negotiated an
Agreement for the sale of water to Bryant from Water Works (the
"Agreement ") under specific terms and conditions contained in
the Agreement; with said Agreement approved by the Little Rock
Municipal Water Works Board of Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ark. Code. Ann. § 14- 234 -108 the
Little Rock Municipal Water Works Board of Commissioners now
requests approval of the Agreement by the Little Rock Board of
Directors authorizing the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the
Agreement on behalf of the City of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Agreement to serve the City of Bryant,
approved and recommended by the Board of Commissioners of the
Little Rock Municipal Water Works on April 22, 1988, is hereby
approved by the Little Rock Board of Directors as amended.

SECTION 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas.
