AN ORDINANCE ASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS
TO BE RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF EACH OF THE
SEVERAL BLOCKS, LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND
WITHIN SEWER IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 147 OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, a majority in value of the property holders owning
property adjoining the locality to be affected and situated in
District No. 147 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, organized
for the purpose of constructing an extension of the Little Rock
Sanitary Sewer System to collect sewage from property located
within the District, have petitioned the governing body of the
City of Little Rock for the construction of said improvement, and
that the cost thereof be assessed upon the real property of said
District according to the benefits received; and
WHEREAS, said benefits received by each and every block, lot
and parcel of real property situated in said District equals or
exceeds the local assessment thereon; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of said improvement is $640,000;
THEREFORE, it is now ordained by the governing body of the
City of Little Rock:
Section 1. That said several blocks, lots and parcels of
real property in said District be assessed according to the
assessment list for said improvement district as the same remains
in the office of the City Clerk, and that five percent (58) of
the assessment of each of said blocks, lots and parcels shall be
collected by the County Collector on or before the 20th day of
February, 1989 and annually thereafter with the first installment
of general taxes coming due until the whole of the local
assessment shall be paid.
Section 2. That all ordinances and resolutions and parts
thereof in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of
any such conflict, and this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
