AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 31 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS PROVIDING FOR A
VARIANCE OF FENCING AND BUFFER
REQUIREMENTS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That Chapter 31 -281 of the Code of
Ordinances be amended to provide for variances and waivers
of certain requirements within the Subdivision Regulations
of the City of Little Rock for Pleasant Valley Living Center
as follows:
Subsection a. That the six foot buffer zone fence on
the south property line be waived entirely and that
the parking and maneuvering area on the south side of
the building be permitted to encroach upon the buffer
zone on a variable line up to five feet from the rear
property line.
SECTION 2. Unless the provisions of this Ordinance are
put into effect immediately, the public peace, health,
safety and welfare of the citizens of Little Rock will be
adversely affected; therefore, an emergency is hereby
declared to exist, and this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage.
