ORDINANCE NO 15,717
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE HWY 10 PLAN
DISTRICT $1 OF THE EXTRATERRITORIAL PLAN
ADOPTED BY ORDINANCE NO 15095 OF MAY 20,1986
FROM TRANSITION ZONE TO COMMERCIAL WITH
CONDITIONS.
Whereas, the Highway 10 Land Use Plan was drawn in 1986
based upon the existing property lines at the Taylor Loop
intersection with Highway 10; and
Whereas, the property lines have been recently changed
at the intersection to reduce a ten (10) acre tract to a
five (5) acre tract; and
Whereas, adding an additional five (5) acres of
commercial land use to the southwest corner would keep the
intersection within the neighborhood scale commercial use of
five to ten acres; and
Whereas, a PCD has been filed for the five acre tract
west of the intersection providing for a needed single
commercial use and enhanced design criteria keeping with the
intent of the Highway 10 Plan; and
Whereas, the proposed PCD would provide for good traffic
circulation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
Section 1. The Highway 10 Plan Map is hereby amended to
add a four acre commercial PUD use at the southwest corner
of Highway 10 and Taylor Loop with open space buffers as
shown on the attached map.
Section 2. This plan amendment is to become effective
from the date of passage.
