SDINANCE NO. 14,876 -
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT AND ESTABLISHING A "PCD"
DISTRICT TITLED MARKHAM PLAZA SHOPPING
CENTER "SHORT -FORM PCD" (Z- 4422 -A)
IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS,
AMENDING CHAPTER 43 OF THE CODE OF
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following described property be changed from "C -3"
(Commercial) / "R -2" (Residential) to "PCD" (Planned
Commercial District):
All of Lot D, West Markham Heights Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas: Beginning at the NW corner
of Lot D; thence East along North line of then said
Lot D, 350.5 feet to the NE corner thereof; thence
South along East line of said Lot D 206.8 feet; thence
West parallel to North line of said Lot D 75.5 feet;
thence South parallel to East line of said Lot D
100.0 feet; thence West parallel to South line of said
Lot D, 275.0 feet to the SW corner of Lot D; thence
North along West line of said Lot D, 306.8 feet to NW
corner thereof and point of beginning, containing 1.853
acres more or less.
SECTION 2. That the preliminary site development
plan /plat be approved as recommended by the Little Rock
Planning Commission.
SECTION 3. That the change in zoning classification
contemplated for "PCD" is conditioned upon obtaining a final
plan approval from the Planning Commission within the time
specified by Article IX, Section 9.101 of the Code of
Ordinances.
SECTION 4. That the map referred to in Chapter 43 -1 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
and designated district map be and it is hereby amended to
the extent and in the respects necessary to affect and
designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 5. That this Ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force upon final approval of the plan by the
Planning Commission.
