AN ORDINANCE AMENDING LITTLE ROCK CODE OF
ORDINANCES SECTION 2 -26; PROVIDING FOR THE
BUDGET AND FISCAL REVIEW PROCESS OF THE LEGAL
DEPARTMENT BE THROUGH THE CITY MANAGER'S
OFFICE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 -26 of the Code of ordinances
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
A legal department of the City is hereby established.
The head of the department shall be the City Attorney,
who shall be appointed by the Board of Directors and
shall serve at the will of the Board. The City
Attorney shall be responsible for the functioning and
operation of the legal department. The City Attorney's
budget and fiscal review process will be the same as
other departments of City government.
