AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 15 -1 OF THE

LITTLE ROCK CODE OF ORDINANCES, AND THE

SCHEDULE OF GARBAGE COLLECTION FEES SET

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1. Little Rock Code § 15 -1(1) is hereby amended
12
to read as follows:

"For each single residence or unit of
14
multiple dwelling utilizing City approved
15
containers servicable by manpower, the sum of
16
three dollars and fifteen cents ($3.15) per
17
month; such fees shall be collected monthly
18
and billed on the statement for water for
19
said premises and be the debt and obligation
20
of the person, firm or corporation in whose
21
name the water meter for said residence, or
22
unit of multiple dwelling is listed."

SECTION 2. Little Rock Code § 15 -1(2) is hereby amended
24
to read as follows:

"For such commercial property utilizing City
26
approved, privately owned containers not
27
capable of being serviced, except by
28
manpower, the fee will be three dollars and
29
five cents ($3.05) per month per cubic yard
30
material handled. Such fees shall be
31
collected monthly and be billed on the
32
statement for water for the premises served
33
and be the debt and obligation of the person,
34
firm or corporation in whose name the water
35
meter or meters for such commercial property
36
is listed."

SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective January
1, 1986.
