AN ORDINANCE REASSESSING THE VALUE OF BENEFITS
RECEIVED BY THE OWNERS OF THE SEVERAL BLOCKS,
LOTS AND PARCELS OF LAND WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES
OF WATER PIPE LINE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 136
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, Water Pipe Line Improvement District No. 136
of Little Rock, Arkansas, is a duly created and existing
special improvement district organized under Ordinance No.
13,947, adopted by the Board of Directors of the City of
Little Rock on December 16, 1980; and
WHEREAS, John Kapp, Joe White and Ronald E. Smith,
the duly appointed and qualified Assessors for the District,
acting pursuant to instructions of the Board of Commissioners
of said District, have reassessed the benefits on the several
blocks, lots and parcels of real estate within the District,
which reassessment roll has been filed in the office of the
City Clerk and said Clerk has heretofore published a notice
of such filing in the manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, the District has improvement bonds outstanding
issued to pay the costs of making the improvements for which
the District was organized and the Board of Directors finds
that the total amount of benefits as reassessed is no less
than the total amount of benefits assessed at the time said
bonds were issued:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. That the reassessment of benefits on all
real property within the boundaries of Water Pipe Line
Improvement District No. 136 of Little Rock, Arkansas, as
fixed by the Assessors, be assessed according to the re-
assessment roll for said Improvement District as the same
is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the City of

Little Rock, Arkansas, and that the reassessment of benefits
on each of the said blocks, lots and parcels of real estate
shall continue to be collected by the Pulaski County Collector
in successive annual installments of four per cent (4 %) each.
SECTION 2. That the annual installments, each in the
amount aforesaid, shall be paid with the general taxes becom-
ing due on the third Monday in February of each calendar year,
beginning in 1986, until the whole of said reassessment of
benefits shall be paid; PROVIDED, such annual payments may,
at the option of the taxpayer, be paid in quarterly install-
ments along with the quarterly installments of ad valorem
taxes.
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
