&DINANCE NO. 14,992
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE $13,874
THE SUBURBAN DEVELOPMENT PLAN FOR THE AREA
EAST OF THE PROPOSED WEST BELT ARTERIAL
AND SOUTH OF THE ROCK CREEK PARKWAY.
WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock anticipates urban growth
in the area east of the proposed West Belt Arterial and south
of Rock Creek Parkway; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has requested a study to
review the appropriateness of the Suburban Development Plan
for this area; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has passed the resulting
study by a vote of 10 ayes, 0 noes, 1 absent.
NOW, THRERFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors hereby expands the
suburban office and neighborhood commercial land use
classifications in the area east of the proposd West Belt
Arterial.
SECTION 2. The Board of Directors hereby changes the
single family area south of Gamble Road and Lornea Avenue to
single family attached.
SECTION 3. The Board of Directors hereby changes the
single family use at the corner of Kanis and Gamble Roads to
neighborhood commercial.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage.
