ORDINANCE NO. 14,973 311
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE
HIRING OF A CONSULTANT TO EVALUATE THE
PERFORMANCE OF RIVERSIDE CABLE TV, INC.,
A WHOLLY OWNED SUBSIDIARY OF STORER
COMMUNICATIONS, INC., IN MEETING THE
COMMITMENTS IT AGREED TO IN THE FRANCHISE
AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager shall hire Carl Pilnick of
Telecommunications Management, the independent consultant that
reviewed the original bid and Proposed System Design submitted by
Riverside Cable TV, Inc., for a sum not to exceed Seven Thousand
Five Hundred Dollars ($7,500.00) to determine whether Riverside
Cable TV, Inc, has to date fulfilled its commitments under its
franchise agreement with the City.
SECTION 2. All laws and parts of laws inconsistent
herewith are hereby repealed.
