AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING A COMMISSIONER FOR
METROCENTRE IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS, Metrocentre Improvement District No. 1 of the
City of Little Rock, organized pursuant to the authority of
Act 162 of the Acts of the General Assembly of the State of
Arkansas for the year 1973 ( "Act 162 ") was created by
Ordinance No. 12,849 of the City of Little Rock, adopted
October 16, 1973; and
WHEREAS, James T. Dyke, who was appointed as a member
of the Board of Commissioners for said District, has resigned
as Commissioner; and
WHEREAS, Section 11 of said Act 162 provides that
vacancies of Commissioners shall be filled by appointment of
the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. It is hereby determined that there exists a
Vacancy on the Board of Commissioners of Metrocentre Improvement
District No. 1 of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, by virtue
of the resignation therefrom of James T. Dyke, who was appointed
to said office.
SECTION 2. Mr. Dick Herget, a person meeting the requirements
of said Act 162, is hereby appointed as a member of the Board of
Commissioners of Metrocentre Improvement District No. 1 of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.

SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval.
