ORDINANCE NO. 14,641 124
AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING VARIOUS
PROPERTIES IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, AMENDING SECTION 43 OF THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the
following properties be and are hereby changed as
indicated.
A. Z- 3269 -C - described as: Part of the W 1/2,
SW 1/4, Section 33, T -2 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows:
beginning at the SE corner of Lot 82, Turtle
Creek, an addition to the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas; thence S 24° 47' 54" W, 100.3 feet to a
point; thence S 240 35' 26" E, 440.75 feet to a
point; thence S 70° 53' 24" W, 141.04 feet to the
SE corner of the Agape Ministries, Inc. property;
thence N 110 55' 01" W along the East line of said
property 407.15 feet to a point; thence N 28° 18'
26" W and continuing along said property line
212.70 feet to a point on the South line of
Lot 83, said Turtle Creek Addition; thence
S 74° 53' 51" E along the South line of said
Lot 83, the South line of Tract "E -1" and the
South line of said Lot 82, 183.35 feet to the
point of beginning, containing 1.2513 acres, more
or less, from "R -2" Single Family to "OS" Open
Space District. (south of Painted Turtle Cove)
B. Z- 3995 -A - described as: Lots A and B, replat of
Loth, Pleasant Hills Addition and the S 1/2 of
that part of "J" Street now closed by Ordinance
#12,654 from 4MF -6" Multifamily to Open Space
District. (west of 1024 North University Ave.)
C. Z -4183 - described as: Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 21, 22,
23 and 24, Block 6, Hick's Interurban Addition to
the City of Little Rock from "R -2" Single Family
to "R -4" Two Family District. (West 22nd & Nichols)
D. Z -4189 - described as: Lot 1, C.L. Schafer
Subdivision of Block 29, Garland Addition,
Little Rock, Arkansas, from "R -4" Two Family to
"I -2" Light Industrial District. (1801 E. 6th St.)
E. Z -4201 - described as: Part of the SE 1/4,
NW 1 4, Section 3, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, all of Lots 3
and 4, Block 1, Arkansas Heights Addition to the
City of Little Rock, lying South of a line which
is 30 feet South of the centerline of pavement of
West Markham Street prior to widening of paved
area and part of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4,
Section 3, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, formerly platted as part
of Lots 1, 2, 5 and 8, and all of Lots 9, 10, 11
and 12 in Block 1, part of Gasland Avenue, part of
West 2nd Street and part of the alley traversing
said Block 1, of said Arkansas Heights Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and the entire
tract being more particularly described by metes

page 53) 983.26 feet to a point on the West line
of said SE 1/4, NW 1/4; thence S 87° 04' 33" E and
along the centerline of Second Street 450.0 feet
to the point of beginning;'thence N 20 05' 30" E,
289.95 feet to the South line of West Markham
Street; thence S 85° 33' 56" E and along the South
line of Markham Street 230.17 feet; thence
S 20 05' 30" W, 282.95 feet to the centerline of
said Second Street; thence N 87° 04' 33" W and
along the centerline of said Second Street
230.0 feet to the point of beginning containing
1.5 acres, more or less, from "R -2" Single Family
to "0-3" General Office District. (10311 W. Markham)
SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Section 43 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock and
designated district map be and is hereby amended to the
extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate
the changes provided for in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. That the ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force from and after its passage and approval.
